The reward of capturing a good photograph is such a journey both technically and mentally.
Raised on Maui, I know this island past the postcard shots. The uncrowded beach the tour buses skip, the light on the pali right before it rains, the difference between a Kīhei sunset and a Lāhainā one. That's the stuff that ends up in your gallery.
No stiff, staged "resort photographer" energy here — just real moments, shot by someone who's part of this community, not passing through it.
